Possible Ontario Works Implementations to Improve a Broken System

- This can be an alternative work program to lead OW recipients back to work as volunteers in a short period of time.

- Public and Private Retirement homes could almost instantly have visitors on a daily basis; with OW recipients looking for a program that is fulfilling, to integrate them into a regular schedule and feeling useful at the same time

-Two problems can be solved at once. Loneliness of the elderly solved. A caring OW program to get many involved solved

-Combine the big box store "greeter" with a uniformed tour guide- a la 1967

-These greeters/guides can inform about local Historical sites, as well as, assist some people cross busy streets

- The idea may sound a bit "boyscoutish" but, once again, I see potential in the people it can help.
